
If you've spent some time posting on craigslist you know how powerful this resource can be. It never fails to deliver the phone calls and e-mails that you need to sell your service.
But, anything good can be improved, correct? Here are some basic tips to get even more targeted calls and e-mails from your craigslist campaign.
First, offer detailed descriptions. You may not be the only person offering your service or product on craigslist, but if you are the one to offer the most descriptive detail, you will be one that will be contacted for further information or prices. Imagine yourself as your customer. Ask yourself, what would I like to know, specifically about this company or this item for sale if I were going to seriously make a call or send an e-mail about it?
Be honest. Don't try to hide anything in your ad hoping that you will get calls and e-mails we are you may have to reveal on unattractive truth.
Third, the more photographs you post the more success you will have in getting responses. It's amazing how many people sell items and don't include a photograph at all. When you photograph your item for sale, or perhaps a service that you're offering on craigslist, be sure to photograph it from many angles and include the photos of the things you believe your customers are looking for.
Finally, be sure to include all relative keywords in your ad. When you finish typing your ad, at the very bottom type of additional 10 keywords that you believe your customers will be searching for. The odds of you being found on the first two pages by somebody browsing a relatively slim. This means most of the people finding you ours searching for you with keywords. Spend about two minutes searching for competitors services and products and write down a 6 to 10 most common words that you find.
